The Board of Visitors

Established in 1908, The Board of Visitors is the oldest charitable organization in Arizona.  For more than 100 years, we have been raising funds to serve the health care needs of women, children and the elderly in the greater metropolitan Phoenix area.  This year marks the 12th Annual Board of Visitors Care Card.  The Board of Visitors is grateful to the community for supporting this program, which has raised over $1.3 million.

The Board of Visitors appreciates the generous underwriting support provided by our corporate partners: SRP, Kitchell Corporation, Westcor Shopping Centers, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona, The Harris Bank, Harkins Theatres, Clear Channel, frontdoors, E.B. Lane, BP Graphics and CBS Outdoor; and the donations from "Shoppers with Heart."  The success of The Board of Visitors Care Card is due to the participation of more than 700 retailers; our affiliate, The Junior League of Phoenix, Inc.; and thousands of Care Card purchasers.

We are pleased to announce that The Board of Visitors Ryan House is the designated Care Care recipient for the seventh consecutive year.  Ryan House provides respite and palliative care, as well as end-of-life care, for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Our Co-Chairs, Cindy Good and Joy King, and their committee have worked tirelessly and creatively to make this year's Care Card a success for our community.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mary Ann Sheely

Chairman, The Board of Visitors
